The short version: vexdoc runs entirely on your computer. We do not collect, upload, transmit, or store your documents or their contents. There is no cloud, no account, and no telemetry.

1. Your documents stay on your device

vexdoc is a desktop application. Every file you open, edit, convert, sign, or redact is processed locally on your PC. Your document contents are never sent to us or to any third party. You can verify this with any firewall or network monitor.

2. What we do not collect

We do not collect the contents of your files.
We do not use analytics or telemetry inside the editor.
We do not require an account to use the app.
We do not track your activity within the application.

3. Purchase & license data

When you buy a license, the purchase is handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy (the Merchant of Record). They process your payment and collect the billing details required by law (name, email, and any tax information). We receive your email address to deliver your license key and provide support. Please see Lemon Squeezy's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.

This marketing website may use minimal, privacy-respecting hosting logs. It does not sell your data.
